Browser warning on Windows? Some browsers flag new, unsigned
executables as “suspicious” — this isn’t a virus, just a lack
of a paid code-signing certificate. If you see a warning, open the download menu
(…) next to the file and choose Keep (or
Keep anyway) to continue.
No account, no telemetry. Power Trace runs entirely on your own machine
and doesn’t send any data anywhere. The download link above is generated per click
and expires quickly — if a link ever stops working, just click the button again.

Version 1.0.0
— August 24, 2026
Initial Release
The first public release of Power Trace. This initial version includes:
- Real-time monitoring of power, voltage, current, power factor and energy for Tuya-compatible smart relays;
- Local SQLite storage — all data stays on your machine, nothing is sent to the cloud;
- Two-zone tariff billing with configurable rates and time windows;
- On-demand analysis engine producing structured insights: grid quality, load analysis, power factor, energy consumption and the detective engine;
- System tray watchdog (
PowerTrace.exe) that keeps the collector and the local API running and restarts them if needed; - Optional remote access to your dashboard from anywhere via Tailscale.
